The City of Asheville is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to plan and produce the City's 2027 Juneteenth celebration in a manner that honors the significance of Juneteenth and reflects community priorities. The solicitation is a Request for Proposals. Addendum 1 states that the Asheville Business Inclusion Policy Operational Pause is in effect from August 21 through December 21, 2026. During this pause, the Asheville Business Inclusion Policy and MWBE participation goal requirements identified in the RFP are no longer required. Proposers must acknowledge the addendum in their submissions; failure to do so may result in a proposal being deemed nonresponsive.
