Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting four battery-powered, lithium-ion Vantage V9 eActive Crew Cab trucks, or equal products, for transporting personnel, tools, and materials around a medical campus. Each truck must seat at least three technicians, have a top speed of 25 mph, self-canceling turn signals, windshield wipers, rearview mirrors, a backup camera, and a payload capacity of 1,500–3,000 pounds. The truck bed must be 49–64 inches wide. The solicitation also requires four bedliners and four flip-up toolboxes for the trucks. Each toolbox must be at least 48 inches long and one inch shorter than the truck bed, with the maximum length dependent on bed width. Delivery is to the Asheville VA Medical Center by January 19, 2027. The amendment extends the quote deadline and updates the salient characteristics; all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
