Description
Haywood County is requesting qualifications from firms registered and operating in North Carolina to provide engineering, planning, permitting, construction administration, inspection, contract management, and administrative support for USDA-NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection projects, the North Carolina Stream Debris Removal Assistance Program, and potentially other grant-funded watershed recovery work related to Hurricane Helene. The selected consultant will support easement and right-of-entry documentation, title and land-ownership research, project designs, construction drawings and specifications, environmental assessments and permitting, bid documents and contractor selection, construction inspection and documentation, cost accounting, progress and final reports, payment recommendations, project close-out, and coordination with the County and NRCS. Proposals must address the firm's understanding of EWP standards, relevant experience, key personnel and subcontractors, organizational structure, past projects, and at least three references for EWP or related projects completed within the last five years.
