Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotes for four Vantage V9 Series Active Electric Extended Cab Trucks, or equal products, for the Asheville VA Medical Center. Each truck must be battery-powered with lithium-ion batteries, seat at least three technicians, have a top speed of 25 mph, include self-canceling turn signals, windshield wipers, rearview mirrors, and a backup camera, and provide a minimum load capacity of 2,000 pounds. The truck bed must be at least 64 inches wide and each vehicle must include a required bedliner and a flip-up toolbox at least 48 inches long and one inch shorter than the truck bed. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside under NAICS 336110 and will result in a firm-fixed-price contract. Quotes will be evaluated on technical capability, past performance, and price, with technical proposals required to address the salient characteristics.
