Buncombe County Schools is requesting proposals for unarmed security guard services at six high schools: TC Roberson High, Enka High, C.D. Owen High, A.C. Reynolds High, North Buncombe High, and C.A. Erwin High. Services include directing traffic, locking/unlocking gates, patrolling school grounds and parking lots, maintaining daily activity reports, preparing incident reports, assisting with crisis/emergency situations, and assisting with fire drills and evacuations. The contract is for the 2021-2022 school year with an option to renew. Proposals are due April 30, 2021 at 4:00 PM EST.
