Liberty County Board of Commissioners is soliciting bids for construction of a small outdoor amphitheater accommodating approximately 50 people. The work includes brick pavers, concrete benches, a raised concrete platform, and minor electrical work. Bids may cover the complete work in one or more general contracts and must be submitted on the provided bid form with prices stated in words and figures. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required. Bids must include a bid bond equal to at least 5% of the lump-sum bid. The successful contractor must furnish performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. The project has participation goals of 10% Minority-Owned Business and 3% Woman-Owned Business, totaling 13%; all related M/WBE documents must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope.
