The Chatham County-Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission, on behalf of the Coastal Regional Metropolitan Planning Organization, is seeking qualified professional consulting firms to provide staff augmentation through on-call task orders supporting the CORE MPO FY 2027 Unified Planning Work Program. Work may include transportation planning; non-motorized and thoroughfare plan updates; transit and paratransit planning; transportation improvement program amendments; transportation database tools; grant applications; public involvement; special studies; Census and GIS data compilation and analysis; project management; scope development; and RFP, RFQ, and contracting support. Specific activities may include bicycle and pedestrian planning, transit planning, freight and metropolitan transportation plan support, traffic microsimulation, flood modeling, public meetings, presentations, and coordination with federal, state, and local planning partners. The selected consultant must be prequalified by the Georgia Department of Transportation in applicable transportation-planning, transit, traffic-study, and bicycle/pedestrian categories. The solicitation is for qualifications only; pricing is not required with the initial submission. The initial contract is expected to run through June 30, 2027, with up to two optional one-year renewals. Proposals must include the specified qualifications, project understanding, insurance and certification materials, references, resumes, and nondiscrimination form.
