Description
East Jasper School District is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive IP camera system to be installed across its facilities. The system must include cameras with minimum 4.9 megapixel resolution, ONVIF compliance, Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability, vandal-resistant and weatherproof housing, infrared/night vision, auto focus, and wide dynamic range. Classroom cameras must have audio and video capability; hallway cameras require 180 or 360 degree field of view with zooming sensors; outdoor cameras must support motion activation and integration with other systems. The solution should include network video recorders (NVRs) per site or local recording with unified management, sufficient storage for at least 7 days continuous recording (30 days for motion-triggered), and rack-mount UPS with 15-minute uptime. Cabling must be CAT 5E/6 plenum-rated, with patch panels, wire management, and PoE switches accommodating 25% growth. Installation must follow EIA/TIA standards, include fire-stopping, cable testing and certification, labeling, and disposal of materials. The vendor must provide at least one year of support and maintenance, including helpdesk services, replacement cameras/switches, on-site installation, training, and documentation. Optional features include facial recognition, 'no face mask' detection, weapons/object detection, and vaping sensors. The system must be NDAA compliant.
