Description
Chatham County is soliciting proposals for complete, job-related, legally defensible pre-employment psychological evaluations for candidates conditionally selected for sworn law-enforcement and emergency communications positions. Services include reviewing position and candidate information, administering and interpreting appropriate psychological assessment instruments, conducting clinical interviews, integrating evaluation data, preparing written suitability reports, and providing consultation or follow-up evaluations when authorized. The County anticipates approximately 30 evaluations annually, but guarantees no minimum volume. Evaluations are to be conducted in person within Chatham County unless an alternate location or remote evaluation is approved in writing. Proposers must identify qualified psychologists with current Georgia licensure or other lawful authority to practice, provide relevant credentials and experience, and describe their methodology, scheduling capacity, turnaround times, confidentiality and data-security practices, conflict-of-interest procedures, and legal-support capabilities. The contract term is one year with four additional one-year renewal options. Proposals must include a detailed technical response, psychologist qualifications and licensing documentation, at least three comparable references from the past five years, redacted sample consent and suitability-report documents, a scheduling/report-delivery description, a completed cost proposal, M/WBE materials, and required County affidavits and certifications.
