Description
Chatham County is soliciting bids for an annual contract to accept, process, and dispose of curbside yard waste collected from residents. The contractor must operate a processing facility within Chatham County, have sufficient equipment and capacity for variable daily volumes, and handle loose branches, bagged debris, and other collected yard waste in an environmentally responsible manner and in compliance with applicable requirements. The County estimates approximately 75,000 to 80,000 tons annually. The contractor must accept deliveries Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and provide trip or dump tickets for each delivery. Pricing is requested by truckload for trash compactors, tandem-axle dump trucks, and grapple trucks. The contract includes a one-year term with four additional one-year renewal options. Required submissions include Attachments A-I, a List of Subcontractors, References, and a Pricing Sheet.
