Description
The Internal Revenue Service is soliciting quotations for a firm-fixed-price purchase order to provide a complete office furniture solution for approximately 2,500 square feet supporting six full-time employees. The scope includes architectural systems furniture, workstations, a manager's office, conference and teaming furniture, storage systems, accessories, integrated power and data distribution, design services, project management, delivery, installation, warranty support, and post-installation support. The solicitation does not request chairs, and no existing furniture will be reused or moved. The contractor must provide AutoCAD and PDF drawings, bills of materials, commercial-grade modular furniture, acoustic performance, ergonomic height-adjustable worksurfaces, integrated electrical and technology features, sustainability certifications, and the ability to reuse at least 80% of workstation components during future reconfiguration. The contractor must be an authorized dealer of the proposed manufacturer, maintain manufacturer-certified installation personnel, and demonstrate at least three similar projects completed within the previous five years. Manufacturer literature, product data, drawings, warranty documents, and environmental certifications may be submitted as attachments outside the 15-page technical-volume limit. The IRS will provide the electrician for final electrical connections. Award will be made to the lowest-priced technically acceptable quotation. The amendment also clarifies workstation, storage, and equipment-support quantities and confirms that nonmanufacturers must comply with the applicable Nonmanufacturer Rule.
