Description
The University of Calcutta is soliciting an item-rate tender for supplying, fitting, and fixing new furniture in the Sports Science Department's Hexagonal Building at the Tech Campus. The scope includes custom wooden classroom benches, tables, chairs, podiums, a dais, office tables, steel almirahs, office chairs, and wall-mounted whiteboards, including materials, labor, finishes, hardware, and installation in accordance with approved drawings and designs. The estimated tender value is INR 1,061,773.40, inclusive of taxes. The work must be completed within 60 days from issuance of the work order, and bids remain valid for 180 days. Bidders must quote a percentage rate on the provided BOQ and submit technical and financial bids online. No consortium bids or partial quotes are permitted. Eligibility includes relevant government or government-aided institutional experience, specified business registrations, a Kolkata-area registered office, and completion credentials for similar work valued at 75% of the estimated amount in a single tender during the last three financial years.
