Description
The Town of Gilbert is soliciting a contractor to provide comprehensive landscape maintenance services for 11 Parkway Improvement Districts in residential subdivisions. The scope includes daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning; mowing and edging; weed, pest, and disease control; tree and shrub planting, trimming, pruning, fertilization, and replacement; palm care; storm-event response; debris removal and disposal; flower planter maintenance; and maintenance of turf, gravel, decomposed granite, medians, sidewalks, playground areas, and related landscaped spaces. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, supervision, materials, quality-control inspections, schedules, and required traffic control. Bidders must demonstrate at least three years of continuous experience, submit similar-project history and three references, and provide current contractor, arborist, and Arizona Structural Pest Control Commission licenses or certifications. The initial contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with up to five additional one-year renewal terms. A bid bond equal to at least 10% of the bid is required, while payment and performance bonds equal to 50% of the contract price are required from the successful bidder.
