The Town of Gilbert is requesting Statements of Qualifications from experienced project management/construction management firms for a construction manager-at-risk project covering the reconstruction of Pecos Road between Val Vista Drive and Lindsay Road. The project includes ADA intersection improvements, crosswalk paver replacement, ramp and driveway upgrades, right-turn lanes, streetlights, sewer and waterline stub-outs, geotechnical investigations, and related work. The project also includes design and installation of a minor arterial traffic signal at Pecos Road and Auto Way/Sailors Way, including connection to the signal system and evaluation of lane alignments and turn lanes. The selected PM/CM firm will oversee the architect/engineer and CM@R during preconstruction and construction, including schedule and cost control, quality control, project management, and construction management. The SOQ must include a one-page cover letter, no more than 12 pages addressing the stated criteria, and Appendix A. The approximate total program budget is $18,396,000, including internal and external costs. Past-performance verification is required for three similar projects, with the verification forms submitted by the referenced agencies before the stated deadline; the proposer must also acknowledge all addenda in the cover letter.
