Description
Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms or brokers to provide ongoing employee benefits consulting and brokerage support. The scope includes designing, maintaining, and modifying health, dental, vision, life and accidental death and dismemberment, long-term disability, health savings account, flexible spending account, and COBRA programs. The contractor will review existing plans, perform statistical and policy analysis, recommend adjustments and enhancements, provide program coordination and administrative support, assist with benefits-related RFPs and vendor negotiations, and serve as a liaison between the department and contracted benefit providers. The resulting contract is effective January 1, 2027, for three years, with two potential one-year renewals.
