Description
Midland County is requesting proposals for the removal, storage, notification, and disposal of abandoned property located in county rights of way. The scope includes recreational vehicles, towable recreational vehicles, pop-up and utility trailers, manufactured homes, boats and boat trailers, and spilled cargo associated with vehicles. The vendor must comply with the Texas Transportation Code and Health and Safety Code and handle other debris or solid waste associated with the property. The contract is for 12 months with annual renewal unless either party provides 30 days' notice of cancellation or nonrenewal. Vendors will be paid per piece of property and must provide pricing by item and instance. Proposals are evaluated on previous related experience, vendor identity and location, references, and cost. The selected vendor must maintain specified general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and umbrella insurance coverage, and must identify proposed subcontractors or suppliers.
