Description
Dallas County seeks an experienced childcare consulting firm, nonprofit, or individual to manage a childcare and early childhood education assistance program for County employees. The contractor will provide personalized guidance, survey and vet childcare facilities, match employees with suitable providers based on geography, schedules, budgets, service quality, and special-needs requirements, and assist employees with available local, state, and federal childcare programs. The scope also includes creating a searchable webpage database of qualifying childcare facilities; facilitating direct payments for County stipends and applicable grants; resolving issues between parents and providers; conducting provider licensing, documentation, insurance, and regulatory compliance reviews; supporting approximately 1,000 interested employees; participating in employee outreach events; and providing recurring placement, facility, compliance, customer-service, and issue-resolution reports. The contractor must respond to inquiries within one business day, schedule initial consultations within three business days, maintain weekday phone and Microsoft Teams availability, and ensure personnel and subcontractors meet applicable background requirements. The contract is for three years with two one-year renewal options.
