Description
Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas is soliciting proposals for comprehensive child care quality activities, including professional training, early childhood workforce and development services, quality improvement, technical assistance, and other innovative activities allowable under the Child Care and Development Fund and applicable Texas Workforce Commission requirements. Proposed activities may support Texas Rising Star participation and certification, infant and toddler care, inclusion and challenging behaviors, staff recruitment and retention, health and safety, family engagement, director leadership, professional development, evaluation, accreditation, and child care capacity development. Professional training must be workshop-based, generally lasting two to six hours, with a maximum of 50 participants per session, and delivered by qualified trainers. Workforce development and innovative activity proposals must describe the approach, qualifications, target audience, participants, timeline, outcomes, required resources, and detailed costs. This is a cost-reimbursement procurement; respondents must submit a proposal through the designated portal, including the required proposal information, budget forms, salary allocation plan, supporting trainer documentation, references, and certifications.
