Description
Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas is soliciting proposals for comprehensive child care quality activities funded through the Child Care and Development Fund and applicable Texas Workforce Commission requirements. The scope includes professional training, early childhood workforce and development services, technical assistance, quality improvement, and other innovative activities supporting child care providers, directors, teachers, infants, toddlers, and Texas Rising Star participation. Professional training may include workshops of two to six hours, delivered in person or remotely as appropriate, with qualified trainers responsible for materials, equipment, sign-in sheets, evaluations, and supporting documentation. Respondents may also propose structured professional development leading to recognized credentials, including Child Development Associate preparation, infant and toddler development, inclusion, behavior management, business operations, health and safety, CPR and First Aid, and related activities. Proposals must describe the approach, trainer or organizational qualifications, experience from the last three years, references, target participants, duration or completion timeline, expected outcomes, required resources, and detailed cost-reimbursement budgets. Selected providers may be placed on a qualified vendor list or awarded agreements, subject to funding, continued need, and satisfactory performance.
