Description
Butte County is soliciting four new, unused Dell PowerEdge R470 servers on an all-or-nothing or item-by-item basis. The required configuration includes dual Intel Xeon 6737P processors, 32 GB RDIMMs, redundant 800W power supplies, 10GbE networking, dual-port 32Gb Fibre Channel adapters, BOSS-N1 mirrored 480GB M.2 storage, iDRAC10 Datacenter management, and sliding rails with cable management; no operating system or hard drives are required. Each server must include five years of ProSupport Next Business Day Onsite Service and five years of Keep Your Hard Drive coverage. Addendum 1 allows memory SKU 370-BCCZ (quantity eight) as a replacement for the originally requested memory and permits the Agnostic Dual Port 32GB Fibre Channel HBA as an alternative adapter. Only Dell equipment will be considered, all four servers must be delivered together, and the County will not accept assignment of payment to a financing company. Bidders must use the provided bid form rather than a vendor-generated quote and include product specifications, firm delivery information, pricing validity, and a description of recycled-material use. Products are to be delivered FOB destination, and hardware and software warranty/support must be registered directly to the County of Butte.
