Description
Houtzdale Borough is soliciting a contractor to construct the Hannah Street Park Project in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. The scope includes approximately 60 square yards of 5-inch concrete sidewalk; a concrete pad and foundation for a 20-foot gazebo; bituminous pavement for two parking spaces and one handicap parking space; pavement markings; a handicap parking sign; tree removal; erosion and sedimentation controls; topsoil and seeding; construction documentation; and related demolition, grading, drainage, labor, materials, and equipment. Addendum 1 adds a concrete paving alternate for the parking area and provides revised site and detail drawings plus gazebo foundation and structural drawings. Bids must be submitted electronically through PennBid; bids submitted by other means will not be accepted. The package requires a bid form, bid security, qualifications and experience information, financial statements, equipment information, resumes, safety documentation, non-collusion and labor-related certifications, grant-agreement acknowledgment, and addendum acknowledgment. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100 percent of the contract amount, and evidence of required insurance. The project is partly grant-funded by the Commonwealth Financing Authority and is subject to applicable prevailing-wage, worker-protection, and funding requirements.
