Description
Westmoreland County Community College is seeking a Broker of Record for its employee insurance benefits. The selected broker will provide strategic and ongoing benefits services, including analyzing existing coverage, developing cost-saving alternatives, supporting long-range benefits planning, negotiating renewal rates, taking employee benefits plans to market, preparing specifications, evaluating proposals, assisting with negotiations, auditing contracts, and monitoring provider performance. The scope also includes day-to-day liaison and problem resolution, employee communications and open-enrollment support, regulatory and compliance assistance involving applicable benefits laws, annual renewal planning, employee wellness program support, reporting, and special projects. Proposers must demonstrate at least 10 consecutive years of Pennsylvania brokerage and benefits consulting experience, provide a project manager and qualified team, and submit three references, preferably including educational institutions. The original contract term is 60 months, with additional one-year terms available upon written request.
