Description
The West Virginia General Services Division is soliciting a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work required to install one handicap door closer/opener at the State Capitol Complex, Building 6. The system must operate on 120 volts, include two wireless activation buttons, connect by cord and plug, and be rated for high/heavy traffic. The contractor must coordinate with Electronic Specialty to synchronize the card reader with the buttons; the building owner will install the electrical outlet based on the contractor's advised location. The work includes coordination with the agency, an overall project schedule within 72 hours after award, visitor-badge and personnel-identification requirements, applicable code and safety compliance, final inspection and cleanup, and a one-year labor warranty. The contractor must use new materials, provide a project schedule, minimize disruption to occupied facilities, and acknowledge the attached Jobsite Safety Handbook before beginning work. At least three similar completed projects are required, with references or supporting documentation available upon request before award.
