Description
The West Virginia General Services Division is soliciting bids to furnish and install one handicap door closer/opener and two wireless activation buttons at the State Capitol Complex, Building 6. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work; coordinate with Electronic Specialty to synchronize the card reader with the buttons; and provide an opener operating on 120 volts, connected by cord and plug. The building owner will install the electrical outlet, with the contractor advising its location. The opener must be rated for high/heavy traffic, and the door has an aluminum frame with a glass panel. The work must be performed as a single project in coordination with the Agency Project Manager, including scheduling, site access, safety compliance, cleanup, final inspection, and submission of warranty documents. A one-year labor warranty is required. Bidders must have successfully completed at least three similar projects; references or supporting documentation may be requested before award. The bid is awarded to the lowest qualified responsible bidder meeting the specifications.
