The City of Lawrenceville is soliciting bids for the demolition of three properties located at 43, 39, and 31 East Crogan Street. The scope of work includes the complete demolition and removal of all building structures, including slabs, drains, lifts, footpaths, septic tanks, debris, and any other components. The project also requires adherence to International Building Code for perimeter security and erosion control. All demolition debris must be properly disposed of or recycled in accordance with Georgia's Solid Waste Management Act. The bid documents also include site plans and asbestos and lead paint inspection reports for the properties, indicating the presence of asbestos in roofing tar, ceiling textures, drywall joint compound, and lead paint on exterior siding and trim, which will require abatement and proper disposal by a qualified contractor. A pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for June 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the project site. Questions regarding bids are due by July 9, 2026, by 3:00 PM.
