Description
DeKalb Public Health (DKPH) is seeking a qualified contractor to design, develop, and implement a modern employee intranet using their existing WordPress platform. This intranet will serve approximately 350 users across 12 divisions, acting as a central hub for internal communications, document management, employee resources, forms, and collaboration. The solution must integrate with DKPH's Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments, ensuring a secure, intuitive, and mobile-responsive user experience. The contractor will also be responsible for migrating relevant content, documents, and resources from the current SharePoint environment to the new intranet. The project emphasizes an accelerated 8-week delivery timeline, requiring parallel workstreams, agile sprints, and efficient content migration. Key technical requirements include full Active Directory/Entra ID integration for Single Sign-On (SSO) and group-based permissions. Desired functionalities include document and media management, video interfaces for training, interactive organizational charts, and integration with internal room scheduling. The proposal evaluation will consider approach, qualifications and experience of the firm and key staff, and cost.
