Description
The City of York, Pennsylvania, through its Department of Public Works, is seeking a qualified firm to provide a turnkey public bike share system serving residents, employees, students, and visitors. The initial phase must include five bicycle stations and 25 bicycles, consisting of pedal bicycles and e-bicycles, along with docking infrastructure, smart locks, GPS tracking, safety features, charging and battery management, and weather-resistant equipment. The selected vendor must provide the software, mobile applications, user and membership management, payment processing, administrative access, data collection, reporting, customer service, operations, preventive and emergency maintenance, cleaning, rebalancing, repairs, equipment replacement, and staffing necessary to operate the system 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The system must support future expansion, and proposals must include technical, operations, maintenance, implementation, staffing, cost, and reference information, as well as required certifications and a proposed draft agreement.
