Description
Bucks County is soliciting unit-cost bids for new fall detection and notification equipment to be purchased and delivered on an as-needed basis. The specified products include patient alarm units, replacement chair and bed sensor pads, replacement nonslip floor mats, contact alarms, and door/window alarms. Several items require specific AliMed or Skil-Care products, while the door/window alarm permits equal products subject to County approval and supporting literature; an equal door/window alarm also requires a free sample by the bid deadline. The contract is for two years, with two additional one-year extension options. Orders will be delivered FOB to Neshaminy Manor Nursing Facility. Bidders must provide unit pricing through the electronic bid table and upload the completed, signed Agreement. Descriptive product literature is required when bidding an alternate or equal product for Item 6, and the Units to Box Conversion file must be completed for an Item 6.1 alternate or equal bid. A bid deposit and performance bond are not required. The awarded vendor must provide specified insurance documentation after receiving notice of award.
