Description
The Federal Transit Administration is seeking Statements of Interest from transportation agencies, transit associations, vendors, manufacturers, and technology companies interested in demonstrating innovative public transit programs, products, technologies, and tools at a one-day Transit Innovation Showcase planned for December 2026. Priority areas include fare enforcement and collection, operator and platform security, innovative transit vehicles, training simulators, threat detection, accessibility, trip planning and wayfinding, cleanliness monitoring, real-time service data, and system reliability. Each submission must include a Statement of Interest of no more than two pages addressing the organization, proposed demonstration, attendee experience, deployment status, logistical requirements, public engagement, innovation, mission alignment, and support for American manufacturing. Applicants may include up to two additional pages of supporting imagery. Selected exhibitors will be responsible for all participation costs, including transportation, drayage, assembly, and breakdown of equipment and displays; demonstrations must meet Department of Transportation security requirements. No federal funding is available, and selection does not constitute government endorsement or guarantee participation.
