Description
Natrona County is seeking a qualified mechanical contractor to modernize two 2,500-pound, 300-fpm traction elevators serving six floors. The work includes furnishing labor, materials, equipment, and services to remove existing equipment and install fully operational replacements, including new hoist motors and geared traction machines, hoist cables and governor equipment, microprocessor controls, regenerative drives, traveling cables, load-weighing systems, voice annunciation, emergency video communications, custom fixtures, door operators, curtain-of-light systems, roller guide shoes, and related hoistway equipment. The scope also includes optional cab interiors and stainless-steel LED ceilings; 12 months of connected services, emergency video communications monitoring, and phone monitoring; and warranty provisions. Contractors must address related machine-room, electrical, fire-alarm, hoistway, structural, network, access, storage, and safety requirements and comply with ASME A17.1, the International Building Code, and local authority-having-jurisdiction requirements. Proposals must include company information, similar projects, a one-page scope narrative and proposed products, at least three references, conflicts-of-interest information, proof of licensing, insurance, and bonding, a project schedule, equipment specifications, total project cost with line-item breakdowns, and a crane plan if applicable.
