Legal Notice # 21942414 NASSAU COUNTY INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS (Environmental Consulting Services) (RFQ #2026-09) The Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (the "Agency") is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified firms and/or persons to (i) review proposed project applications and supporting materials, (ii) review Phase I and/or Phase II environmental site assessments prepared by third parties, (iii) meet with project applicants, project applicant Phase I/II preparers and representatives of the Agency to discuss the materials, (iv) prepare recommendations with respect to the environmental conditions at proposed projects of the Agency, (v) prepare environmental cleanup cost estimates, and (vi) if required, deliver written recommendations relating to the environmental conditions of such proposed projects to the Agency. A copy of the Request for Statements of Qualifications may be obtained from: http://www.nassauida.org. Questions regarding the Request for Statements of Qualifications may be directed in writing via e-mail to the Contracting Officer at info@nassauida.org or by calling the Agency at (516)571-1945. The deadline for submission of a Statement is 4:30 p.m., Eastern Time, on September 21, 2026.

Description
The Nassau County Industrial Development Agency is seeking qualified environmental consulting firms or individuals to provide environmental consulting and related professional services for proposed Agency projects on an as-needed basis. The Agency may establish a list of responsive and responsible contractors and may divide the work among multiple contractors; no specific number of projects is guaranteed. Requested services include reviewing project applications and supporting materials; reviewing third-party Phase I and/or Phase II environmental site assessments; meeting with project applicants, assessment preparers, and Agency representatives; preparing recommendations regarding environmental conditions; preparing environmental cleanup cost estimates; and, when required, delivering written recommendations. Respondents must submit qualifications, relevant experience and team information, at least two client references, project cost and time estimates, conflict-of-interest information, and required disclosure certifications and questionnaires. Experience and Capabilities is limited to two pages. The contract term is expected to be no longer than two years.
