Description
The District seeks a qualified insurance broker/consultant to analyze existing and available coverage; review the insurance market; prepare specifications, solicit and evaluate insurance proposals; negotiate with insurers; and support implementation and communication of coverage changes. The contractor will provide annual program and market reporting, renewal forecasts, claims-history analysis, strategic recommendations, and quarterly meetings with the Risk Management team. The scope also includes risk-management support, employee education resources, healthcare-sector property and casualty expertise, workers’ compensation program design and loss control, benchmarking, and review of vendor contracts for insurance and indemnification. The selected firm must assign a dedicated representative, be licensed in Arizona, operate independently of insurance companies and third-party administrators, and disclose relevant contractual relationships. The initial term is five years, with an option to extend for two additional years. Proposals are evaluated on qualifications, references, pricing, response to requirements, and compliance with contract provisions.
