Description
The school is seeking proposals for fiber-optic internet access at bandwidths from 1 Gbps to 5 Gbps, with pricing at 1 Gbps increments and 1-, 3-, or 5-year contract options. Proposals should include the service handoff to the school’s LAN, any required construction and installation (including fiber and conduit work), testing, acceptance, project management, and service-level commitments. Contracts are contingent on E-Rate funding. The solicitation also requests managed internal broadband services for existing network equipment, including ongoing monitoring and management of wired and wireless networks, configuration maintenance and optimization, remote and on-site technical support, software updates and security patches, performance reporting, and incident documentation. Pricing must itemize eligible and ineligible costs and identify applicable fees. Vendors must submit the completed E-Rate Service Provider Bid Response Worksheet and include their SPIN; vendor references are requested upon request. The listed equipment includes Ubiquiti firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
