Description
The University of Minnesota is seeking one or more qualified insurance brokers to place and service commercial insurance policies covering diverse exposures, including marine, aircraft, clinical trials, crime, cyber, excess liability, fine arts, athletics, property, surety bonds, workers' compensation, and related technology or analytical services. The University may split insurance lines among multiple brokers when advantageous and acceptable to the brokers. The selected broker or brokers will also provide consultation on emerging risk management and specialty insurance issues as needed. Captive management services for the University's general/professional liability, auto liability, and nonprofit organization liability policies are expressly excluded. The pricing template states an initial five-year contract term with options for two additional one-year extensions and requests proposed annual fee increases.
