Description
The Town of Chapel Hill is soliciting proposals for one or more contractors to provide professional janitorial services at the Chapel Hill Public Works Campus, the Post Office and Courthouse Facility, and Chapel Hill Town Hall. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, cleaning supplies, paper products, consumables, and equipment. Services include daily and periodic cleaning, restroom and kitchen sanitation, carpet and rug care, glass cleaning, floor scrubbing and refinishing, waste, recycling, and compost management, dispenser replenishment, facility security, and emergency or after-hours coordination. The Town requires environmentally preferable cleaning products in specified facilities, including Green Seal or EPA Safer Choice products, and equipment meeting stated Carpet and Rug Institute and noise-level requirements. The contract is for one year beginning January 1, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewal terms. Proposals must include a cover letter, all required forms, pricing, organizational and team information, relevant experience, a service coordination and collaboration plan, and three similar projects completed within the last five years.
