Description
This Sources Sought/Request for Information seeks capable contractors for an estimated 30-calendar-day firm-fixed-price dry-dock repair period for a U.S. Coast Guard vessel assigned to Station Cape May. The contractor must provide the dry-dock facility, materials, equipment, personnel, and related services. Work is to be performed at the contractor's dry-dock facility, subject to geographic and transit considerations. The anticipated work includes general welding; ultrasonic testing; underwater-body hull-plating inspection and repair; fendering-system inspection and repair; diesel-fuel-tank cleaning, inspection, defueling, and refueling; main diesel engine, MEPS generator, and jet-drive maintenance and alignment; water-jet and jet-drive-anode service; electrical isolation; preservation of fendering surfaces, water-jet drives, and underwater-body areas; non-skid-pad renewal; marine chemist services; temporary services; and sea-trial support. Respondents must provide company and UEI information, business-size information, any applicable small-business certification documentation, a statement describing how they would perform the work and confirming their intent to submit as a prime contractor if solicited, and relevant past-performance information.
