Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division is seeking information from capable sources for engineering and technical services supporting hull and deck machinery systems on U.S. Navy ships. The scope includes launch and recovery systems, rescue and mission boat davits, unmanned vehicle systems, stern ramps and doors, anchoring and mooring systems, towing systems, cranes, lift platforms, and platform lifts. Required capabilities include shipboard assessments, troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance, repairs and overhauls, training, installation and alignment support, engineering modifications and upgrades, reliability improvements, technical documentation, software development for legacy systems, repair parts and special tools, manufacturing and testing of slewing arm davits, program management, logistics, travel, and technical reporting. The work is primarily performed at the contractor’s facility, with additional work at government and shipboard sites in CONUS and OCONUS locations. The draft SOW identifies a requirement for a Confidential clearance and a facility clearance, with the facility clearance obtainable within 120 days after award. This notice is for market research and is not a solicitation for proposals.
