Description
This Sources Sought/RFI concerns recurring annual haul-out services for seven Marine Corps watercraft ranging from 41 to 87 feet: one 87-foot patrol boat, two 74-foot landing craft, one 65-foot inland buoy tender, two 41-foot utility boats, and one 58-foot moving-target support boat. The contractor must operate a suitable boat yard with sufficient space and crane support to haul, pressure wash, block, store, and relaunch the vessels, generally one vessel at a time. Anticipated storage periods range from approximately two to five weeks per vessel, with additional optional unscheduled lift and evaluation events. Required capabilities include Farrow blasting below the waterline for specified vessels, environmental ground tarps, scaffolding, water, electrical power, forklift support with operators, parking and staging for a government vehicle and trailer, and weekday access for government personnel. The boat yard must be within one hour by government vehicle and two hours by waterway of MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, and must comply with applicable environmental, safety, and occupational health requirements. Responses are for market research only and should include firm information, participation type, business size, CAGE Code, and a brief capability statement of no more than five double-sided pages.
