Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Office of the Attorney General, is soliciting a vendor to provide janitorial and custodial services for its 1,982-square-foot Prestonsburg office. Services must be performed one day per week during working hours of 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and include emptying trash, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting shared surfaces, mopping, cleaning and stocking restrooms, cleaning glass surfaces, and monthly blind cleaning. The contractor must provide all cleaning supplies and equipment and maintain coverage for staff absences. The initial service period is November 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with one additional one-year extension option. The annual cost may not exceed $5,000. Award will use a best-value evaluation based primarily on price, with additional points for years of experience. Contractor employees and applicable subcontractor employees must undergo required background checks before accessing the facility. Proof of insurance is required before award, including commercial general liability coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate; automobile and professional liability coverage may apply depending on the services and personnel involved.
