Description
Worcester County is soliciting a contractor to provide design and construction services for upgrades at the Northern Worcester Athletic Complex. The scope includes renovating men's and women's restrooms to ADA-compliant standards; installing new fixtures, lighting, ventilation, epoxy flooring, and wall coatings; upgrading the concession stand with a hood and fire-suppression system, gas lines, plumbing, and an external grease trap; replacing the pavilion and concession-stand roof, sheathing, siding, and ceiling; and replacing exterior doors, hardware, and paint. The vendor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and related services, be licensed to work in Maryland, and provide proof of licensure with the proposal. The proposal package must include the County's proposal form, three recent similar-project references, exceptions and addenda acknowledgments, principal information, qualification affidavit, non-collusive affidavit, certificate of status when applicable, and proof of Maryland contractor licensure. Work is expected to occur from January 1, 2027, through March 30, 2027, with substantial completion by March 31, 2027. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, are required if the contract exceeds $100,000.
