Description
Lafayette Consolidated Government is soliciting bids for as-needed plumbing installation at its water, wastewater, and electric facilities. The work includes installing backflow preventer assemblies, hose bib assemblies, customer cutoff valves, and one-inch service lines at wastewater facilities, as directed through individual work authorizations. Bids must be submitted on the provided bid form and accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the base bid plus additive alternates. A corporate resolution or certificate of authority authorizing the signer is required. Contractors bidding $50,000 or more must hold a Louisiana plumbing contractor license and provide the license number as specified. The successful contractor must furnish performance and labor and material payment bonds for the full contract amount.
