Description
Vermilion Parish School District is requesting leased lit-fiber wide area network connectivity and dedicated Internet access for approximately 27 eligible entities. Proposals must address 10 Gbps and 20 Gbps fiber circuits, point-to-point and resilient network options, dedicated 24/7 bandwidth, connectivity to two data centers, support for multiple protocols and quality-of-service tagging, and a target of 99.9% network uptime. Vendors must provide network diagrams, fiber-route details when special construction is proposed, equipment make and model information, installation requirements, outage escalation procedures, and service-performance certification reports. The district seeks a 36-month contract with two one-year extensions, not to exceed 60 months. Services are intended to be fully operational by July 1, 2027, and the selected provider must participate in the E-Rate program and comply with its billing and certification requirements. The response must include pricing for WAN and Internet access, all fees, technical design and implementation information, references and experience, the required cover sheet and non-collusion form, a table of contents, and any applicable special-construction pricing forms.
