Description
St. Landry Parish School Board is accepting applications for Type 1 and Type 3 charter school proposals for schools opening in the 2028–2029 school year or beyond. Applicants must complete the 2026–2027 Common Charter School Application and the appropriate application for either a new or experienced charter operator. The full application and all components must be submitted by email. Applications will be reviewed by an independent evaluator with educational, organizational, legal, and financial expertise. Applicants may provide a written response to the evaluator’s assessment before a final recommendation is made to the school board.
