Description
Lafayette Consolidated Government is soliciting bids for remote breaker racking devices and remote breaker charge, close, and trip devices for the TJ Labbe Electric Generating Station and Hargis-Hebert Electric Generating Station. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder meeting the bid-document requirements. Equivalent equipment may be proposed for approval during the bidding phase. The bid must be submitted on the provided bid form and accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the base bid plus additive alternates. Acceptable security is a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. A Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Authority authorizing the signer is also required. Electronic submissions must include copies of both sides of the check or bid bond. The successful bidder must execute the contract within 10 days of award, and bids must remain valid for at least 45 days after opening.
