Description
Lafayette Consolidated Government is soliciting bids for the I-10 Gateway Corridor Initiative. The scope includes planting various tree specimens along the I-10 corridor and completing all work within 120 working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted on the provided bid form. A bid security of five percent of the base bid plus additive alternates is required in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check. The successful bidder must provide performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full contract amount. Contractors bidding $50,000 or more must hold a Louisiana contractor license in the Landscaping, Grading, and Beautification classification and include the license number with the bid. The government encourages participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.
