Description
The Lafayette Airport Commission is soliciting sealed bids for demolition of the existing building at 301 Shepard Drive at Lafayette Regional Airport, along with associated driveways, utilities serving the property, and the parking lot. Work must follow the project bid documents, plans, and specifications. Bidders must hold the applicable Louisiana building-construction license. Any bidder performing asbestos-containing material, universal-waste, or lead-based-paint removal must also hold the required hazardous-materials or applicable abatement licenses; otherwise, that portion must be subcontracted to a properly licensed contractor. The solicitation includes a 12.97% Small Business Enterprise participation goal, requires a 5% bid security, and requires the successful bidder to furnish 100% performance and labor-and-materials payment bonds. Bids may be submitted by sealed delivery or online.
