Description
Cook Inlet Housing Authority (CIHA) is soliciting bids for the Cordova Street Water Line Extension project in Anchorage, Alaska. The project involves extending an existing water main along Cordova Street by approximately 600 linear feet, installing new water service taps to serve CIHA's lots on both the east and west sides of Cordova Street, and tapping into the existing AWWU sewer main to install sewer service lines to the same vacant lots. The contractor will also be responsible for patching and/or replacing disturbed asphalt and concrete surfaces. The anticipated start date for work is early July 2026, with completion expected by September 30, 2026. The solicitation requires a 5% bid bond, 100% payment and performance bonds, and adherence to various federal and local regulations, including those related to labor standards and environmental protection.
