Description
The Solid Waste Authority seeks an as-needed term contract for pickup, transportation, recycling, and disposal of waste oil, oily water, petroleum contact water, antifreeze, and used filters generated at its collection centers, vehicle maintenance facilities, landfill gas skid, and other sites as needed. Used filters must be recycled uncrushed; the contractor must provide 55-gallon drums or mutually agreed alternative containers. Services must comply with applicable regulations, and disposal facilities are subject to Authority approval. The contractor must provide separate pickup tickets documenting the time, quantities, and destination for each material at each location, and submit tickets during weekly pickups. The Authority estimates quantities but does not guarantee them. The contract is initially two years, with an option for one additional year. Subcontracting is not authorized.
