Description
Dane County seeks proposals for collection, packaging, transportation, and final disposition of hazardous and specified non-hazardous waste from its Clean Sweep Program. The contractor must provide containers, labor, equipment, safety materials, waste profiling and testing, inventory and manifesting, labeling, and compliant transport and disposal or recycling at approved facilities. The scope includes recurring pickups, a minimum 48-foot drop-and-hook trailer, occasional pickups at other county locations, and at least two annual satellite collection events. The contractor must also provide annual staff training and waste-disposition reports, manifests, and certificates of disposal or recycling. Proposals must describe the waste streams and disposal methods the vendor can handle, identify and document proposed facilities and subcontractors, and include relevant qualifications, project experience, staff resumes, and financial stability information. The response also requires the completed disposal-methods-and-facilities declaration, insurance certificates and specified endorsements, and a signed W-9. Pricing is requested for waste handling and disposal and for containers and related supplies.
