Description
The City seeks a contractor to provide quarterly preventive maintenance for its ice machines and as-needed repair services and replacement parts. The scope includes labor, materials, tools, travel, and related incidentals; maintenance must follow manufacturer procedures and includes filter changes, inspections, cleaning, operational checks, and detailed service reports. Replacement parts and materials must be original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and repair work requires prior approval. The contractor must be available for emergency repair and callback service 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The contract is intended to establish firm, fixed pricing for a 36-month term, with a possible two-year renewal. The contractor must self-perform at least 75% of the services using its employees and provide at least three references demonstrating three years of similar experience. The bid requires a completed pricing schedule and other specified bid forms; the pricing schedule must be submitted in signed paper and electronic spreadsheet formats, with the electronic version on a flash drive.
